Amitec in Strauss Frito-Lay (PepsiCo), the salty plant

Amitec has recently activated its ASC-EMS system for energy and infrastructure management at Strauss / PepsiCo’s salty plant. The system is connected to all the infrastructure and controls in the plant : natural gas, nitrogen, water, electricity, air compressors, air conditioning, steam, lighting, osmosis, sewage and more. There is a real time monitoring of all data from different systems, sending alerts by email and / or SMS. Operates facilities according to schedule. It is possible to produce consumption reports, sort breakdowns by types, facilities and importance, perform maintenance work according to hours worked and according to time from the last maintenance.

The Conference  took place at Lago -Rishon Lezion. Amitec presented solutions in the area of shop floor control within a manufacturing execution system (MES) and energy management.
